REORGANIZATION COMPLETE FOR 2006

The following were elected as officers for the 2005-2006:
BRUCE TAYLOR  PRESIDENT
JON TANDY   VICE PRESIDENT
SHIRLEY COUTTS  SECRETARY
JOAN GLAZIER  TREASURER

Outgoing President Jon Tandy will take the position held by Don Coutts who will remain as Collections Chairperson.  Jon will continue to handle the Society's "red tape" by completing the required tax reports.  Jon would like to have someone else become familiar with these form as well to relieve him of this chore in the future.  The Society is indebt ed to Jon for his commitment and leadership for the past three years. 


Don Coutts, the original founder of WHS, is happy to devote his attention to increasing and improving the collection.

Audrey Graybill leaves her secretary chores and turns them over to Shirley's capable hands.  Audrey will continue to edit the newsletter and to maintain the membership roster.

In addition to electing new officers,  changes in the by-laws were approved.  The number of directors has been increased and the Historic Easement has been added to the list of permanent committees.  The Board of Directors will be selecting additional directors at future meetings.  The current list of Directors appears on page four of this newsletter.

ANNUAL REPORT AVAILABLE

The 2004-2005 Annual Report has been published and made available to members upon request.  If you would like to receive a copy of the report, contact Shirley Coutts at 570 226-4454 or send your request to PO Box 345, Paupack, PA 18451.

The Annual Report booklet has been mailed to all sponsors and auction donors as well as to a number of  interested persons who regularly receive the newsletter.

Pie charts showing Income and Expense are featured in the report.

    DONATIONS COMPLETE

The upright freezer has been donated to the TAFTON Fire Company and the chest freezer has been donated to Survivors in Milford. 

We appreciated the original donations and are pleased to pass them along to deserving public service groups.
